Just a question to see if I should make one. I wouldn't mind doing so aslong as I got the money back I invested in to it.
The app would give you trivial information on each species like what series and episode it first appeard, what quadrant it is from etc. It will also have a biography on each species and hopefully when you click the page, you will hear a sentence/motto from that species, for example: today is a good day to die.

Not really.  Memory Alpha is a pretty comprehensive website, so I'd just go there.

I don't have a smart phone so probably not.

seems to me people like fun goofy stuff.  Why not an ap that makes triquarter sounds when you point the phone at something?
