It's come to that time of year again, I'm studying like crazy for my end of semester exams (which are in May in my country, not sure about anywhere else) and I'm going nuts from the stress!

Think I need some good old Trek to chill out to, but I can never decide on a movie to watch... Anyone got suggestions? Also, is it just me or does anyone else here like to watch Trek when they're stressed out?

Haha, thank you!  I'm pretty much addicted to both TOS and TNG at the moment. TNG has brilliant characters, they're really difficult not to love.

Think I'll go with First Contact, it's my favourite.

Haha, I'm not sure!  I'm a relative new-comer to Trek really, it's fantastic, where has it been all my life?

I generally like to watch something light-hearted when feeling stressed, like Trials and Tribble-ations which makes me laugh. Laughter really is the best medicine.

Have you ever danced with a Tribble in the pale moonlight?

If you wish to dive into the mundane, by all means watch any of TNG so called movies, if you wish to watch really bad acting and idiotic story telling then Nemesis is the way to go.
But if you want to watch Star Trek in all it's glory as it was meant to be, any of TOS motion picture should fill your needs.
ST09 is pretty darn good also

But above all, instead of locking your self in the house to watch movies or repeats, head out and explore the real world around you....much more exciting.

In other words, keep yourself busy until summer 2013 when the next new STAR TREK film comes out.

Yeah, my final exam is tomorrow and then I'll be free again! Haha, I've been so tied up with study, I feel like I've been a slave in the dilithium mines of Remus for the last couple of months! It will be nice to see the light of day.

A good episode of Trek certainly can cheer me up and provide a good diversion - a good dose of escapism

If we're going for movies to make you smile, Star Trek IV is the best. It's not forced, and the crew walking around in LA during the 80's is hilarious.

Chekov asking a cop where to find the "nuclear wessels" in his Russian accent.

Spock cursing.

Scotty's famous "Hello computer!" scene.

It's all fun stuff.
