I don't think we'll ever see ENT again, BUT it would be freakin' awesome if they did a movie in the style of "Serenity."

But more likely, though still not very, someone should get on Cartoon Network to make a CGI series of ENT like they did with "Star Wars: The Clone Wars."  I would watch it, and my 6 y/o would too, since she only watches the "Star Trek with the blue shirts."  "The old one with the red shirts is stupid"

I also feel that this was the best series as well.  I loved this series and really didn't watch it when it was out there.  If I had and then had to endure a cancellation, I would have been depressed about it.  I have the complete series and love watching it whenever I want.  I would have loved more storylines that would have prepared us for the future series in the area of the Romulans, more about the Andorians and , of course, the Borg.  The evolution of Capt Archer from an explorer approaching the exploration of space naively and with a little bit of arrogance to the seasoned Captain was fascinating.  I loved that evolution.  I also think that eventually T-Pol and Trip getting together was possible and I think that the writers could have brought Trip back in a storyline that he was recruited to spy on the Romulans and thus he had to taken out of 'existence' of Starfleet.  That would have made a great storyline and bringing forth the Romulan storyline.

Didn't the ENT novels do just that?

I don't know, since I haven't read any of them.  Perhaps I shall research them out because it would be the sotry that I am most interested in that could have gone far in the series.

I think new episodes would be a no go, but I think a made for TV ENT movie would be easy enough for them to produce and get a return on their investment through commercial advertisements.  Not sure if CBS would ever be willing though.

It would be awesome to bring it back but it ended in what 2005? thats a long time to go without this show or any new form of trek it just can't happen now which is a big shame if you ask me.

But Why cancel it? Heck voyager was allowed to finish and it was worse by comparison (my opinion I'm not declaring it as trash just not as good for me).

Oh well all good things have to end.

IT WAS CLOSE TO 20 YEARS IF I'M NOT MISTAKING 18 YEARS BEFORE THEY BROUGHT BACK STAR TREK WITH THE NEXT GENERATION SO IT'S NEVER TO LONG WITHOUT STAR TREK ON TV TO BRING IT BACK IN SOME FORM. SPOCK SIAD THERE ARE ALWAYS A POSSIBLITY.

I PICKED ST:TMP BECAUSE IF IT WASN'T FOR THAT MOVIE THERE MIGHT NOT BE A STAR TREK FOR J.J. ABRAHMS TO REDO.

The novels kinda summed it up but its just not the same.

Star Trek: Enterprise could possibly come back but I doubt through CBS.  I mean "Arrested development" is getting a new season on netflix in early 2013 and that show was cancelled back in 06.  So it is possible.

I have a thread about that over at TrekUnited. I'm trying to draw attention back to saveing enterprise one last time. Maybe some fresh faces could make a difference this time.

I've never seen Enterprise, but I have to ask, is it still in the spirit of Gene Roddenberry?

That's hard to explain.  Sort of?  Can you give more detail as to what you feel is the spirit of Gene Roddenberry?

I really all those ass clowns of networks read our thoughts and everyone else's thoughts on every message board in here, and quit being so mother fffin greedy and the damn politicians , and the school systems and put some real got damn programming on like we used to love to watch , good old american television....

I loved star trek enterprise, hell i know it seemed a little old fashioned, hell i even know rick berman and brannon braga pushed alot of there own views in because roddenberry was dead, but at the time majel was still alive when enterprise was canceled, i think the cbs/paramount need to do somthing and get fuc$ing enterprise back and show the damn romulan war like they were supposed when they created the damn show, hell could help but wonder when you watch the first star trek with capn kirk him and spock talked about the romulan war all the time, and hell it ain't like they don't have a story already written , michael martin and andy mangels both have two / three books out about the romulan war, i will on this board every mother fn day till they bring enterprise back and take off all there damn reality shows and damn soap operas, put some good shows on and star trek enterprise was and still is a good show we need it finished we need clarity , we the people of star trek have a need and cbs is dropping the balll, come on people get it together...........

ciao kyle out

hell yes it still has his adventure spirit in it , it has alot to do with him and majels legacy , he did say back in 1991 /1992 he had hoped that in the future some one would take what he did and remake it, for a new generation and i feel in the spirit of star trek if you don't pollute it with immorality and over indulge in obsessive language and keep in mind his outlook then yes star trek enterprise has his spirit!

You know I loved Scott Bakula as Capt Archer. I especialy loved Trip. If you look at the whole series HE was the main hero and paid the utlimate price. That pissed me off to no end. He was the most believeable character. Loyal to the end to the Captain. But the show did break a lot of star trek rules like when they came across the Romulans in that mine field. In the original series the Romulan bird of prey was a prototype with the first cloaking device. These ships had cloaking devices and so did the mines. The only rule they didnt break on that episode was that they didnt see them face to face. There where some other rules they broke but I cant think of them now. I did like how they made the Vulcans out to be premadonnas though and I also think T'Pol's character developed fantasticly. (I'm without a doubt NOT a writer so bear with me). Hoshi was a pest. My wife is Japanese and she hated how this woman was such a wuss. ( I know she's Korean in real life but its the character she hated) But the thing that made us both so angry was the reason Brannon Braga and Ira whatshisname said they stopped the show. They said "They had nothing left to write about".....are you kidding me? Sounds like they made thier money and got tired of thier jobs. I had an idea......ASK THE FANS FOR IDEAS WE'RE FULL OF EM. This show didnt need to end. It just needed some new ideas. Man I could write some real good ones. If I could get in with those Paramount execs man I would rock the Star Trek world. I know you guys could too. Cant let this thing die.
