the role of janeway set a new precedent by casting a female captain.this role was excellently portrayed by an actress who was also brilliant in a daytime soap opera.DO YOU AGREE?

That's pretty much it. Seven years is about standard for a full-length Star Trek series. (DS9 and Next Gen. also ran for seven years.) And once Voyager reached its goal (Earth) it was a natural place to stop.
I don't know who Kate Mulgrew was in any daytime soaps -- but she was pretty good as Janeway. And yes -- more authoritative women on sci-fi would be brilliant.

Apparently the Star Trek executives only wanted each of the series to go 7 years. Besides, even though Voyager was awesome and could have gone longer, it was time for it to end. They knew from the beginning that it would only last 7 years. That's probably the same case with TNG and DS9.

Because rating were down the show wasn't nearly as popular as other shows at the same time slot. Mostly the show was running out of ideas and was starting to get stale and repetative.

That is because it was stuck on a crappy network that not all trek fans had access too.

Voyager came back home, and its surviving crew mostly went other places, afterward.
Wouldn't it be awful to have a series where the ship and crew were really lost in space and were destined to never return home, no matter how hard they tried? In a realistic setting, such occurrences probably would happen from time to time, like all the ships (mostly now forgotten) that were lost at sea, with all their crew and passengers.
And, Star Trek series showed a number of ships like that, whose crews perished on some distant planet or disappeared into a star or other celestial phenomenon. That crew's adventures would not make a good series!

The show wasn't "cancelled". It was slotted to last 7 years just like TNG and DS9. So it ended as planed. So, it wasn't cancelled.
It was the worst show of the series anyhow. If any of the series got cut short it should have been that one.

No you wanna know why Lucas quit making Syar Wars movies....
He made three more after a hiatus of over two decades as well as a CGI animated series.
it's cause he can't come up with ideas on his own......
Which is why he produced over a dozen films in the decade following TESB. He also created the company PIXAR...no good ideas there at all.
...You and every other Warsie out there knows that StarWars is a Ripoff of Star trek.....
Apart from the movies taking place in outer space, the two franchises don't remotely resemble one another, not even a little. If anything, ANH's primary storyline bore a very strong resemblance to a japanese film called The Hidden Fortress.
One could turn that back on you and state that Star Trek was ripped off of other sci-fi, most notably Forbidden Planet. Gene Roddenberry himself described Trek as "Wagon Train" to the stars.
They Ended it because they....... It don't matter why they ended it they just did....
Like the shows prior, the show was slated for a seven year run and when year seven was coming to a close the show moved toward the end. This was planned; Voyager was not cancelled at all, it was meant to have a finalized ending.
