I wish in some Voyager or TNG episodes or Deep Space 9, they showed how in the

24th century there are cities deep below the Ocean in huge domes on Earth, does that exist in Earth's Future acoording to Star Trek

I don't see why they wouldn't exist. Such a habitat would be easily built where a sphere made of Gorilla Glass and steel structural members would be lowered to a few feet above the point where humans would get the bends.

To connect two such spheres together we could use the same Common Berthing Mechanisms that are used aboard the I.S.S. the deeper we go of course would mean that habits as the Deep Challenger One would need to be created.

I always thought it would be kind of cool to fill the domed city with that liquid I've seen animals immersed in and breathing it in.  The dome would be able to withstand greater pressure, leaks would be less serious, and people could swim around like Aquaman while in the dome.

People have been talking about this idea for decades.  I fully expect it to happen when we have the technology and it becomes cost effective.  There is plenty of food and plenty of space.

Anyone remember SeaQuest?  I think they had a few cities like this.

There are already plans for homes/cities on the sea (called Seasteading,) but we're not quite ready for them to be on the floor of the seas.

"I'd like to be in an octopus' garden with you!"  (Remember that song?)

The one good thing about inhabiting an undersea--or even ocean-surface--dome would be that if you got into trouble, help would be a lot closer than interplanetary or interstellar distances away!

Actually if we were to use I.S.S. modules we could build an underwater city the same way that the modules are used to build the space station overhead.

Check out Gimp. Its a free graphics program that has alot of awesome brushes that can be added to it in order to create a presentation of your design for an underwater city.

photobucket is also a good way to link your ideas in graphic form for others here to see.

They only mentioned, never showed; Picard was offered a position on one of these underwater bases/facilities/colonies/whatever following the first Borg invasion of Earth in the episode "Family." So they clearly do exist.

And they wouldn't use steel and "gorilla glass" they would use shit like tritanium and transparent aluminum.
