Something to be excited about

Shuttle Discovery Goes Into History.....as Discovery is rolled into the Smithsonian a new Enterprise shines through.

Although the Shuttles have been retired the hope of space exploration is not dead and will find a new life in the first space port in the existance of humanity.

We already have the I.S.S. in orbit and the technology to build a civilian based port similar to the I.S.S. in orbit on the West's side of the world. India and Japan also have the technology to build and maintain a similar port on the East side of the world.

Space X would provide the capsules to get humans to either port where a starliner built with modules similar to those of the I.S.S. with the VASIMR as the engine suite would then propell the starliner named Exxodus One between The West's Space Port and the East's Space Port Named Unity One.

Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of the Universe!

How unsearchable its judgments,

her paths beyond tracing out!

“Who has known the mind of Creation?

Or who has been given her counsel?”

“Who has ever given to the Universe,

that the Universe should repay them?”

For from her and through her and to her are all things.

To them be the glory forever!

Death is at the doorstep looking for a way to get inside of the Oort Cloud to destroy humanity....Unity One will stave Death's goal of wiping humanity from the Universe....from the thought of Creation herself.

Amazing, one day I want to go and the smithsonian museum. Can't wait to see this tech begin used in th enear future, also there was a documentary on the discovery science channel showing a company took one of Nasa idea for a staion but decided not to use it, it was made out a material simliar to a tire both in looks and strenght. This company lauched there version in obrit and it was success. In a same of capsule it could be used for alot of things. I'm suprised NASA is not using this. Anyone know what it is called?

Are you talking about Bigelow?

There are many interesting ideas out there. What would be awesome is to have a website dedicated to bringing all of these future space hab and vehicles to one point so that everyone could be able to access this knowledge at a finger tip.
