Soon a new entertainment complex called Scene 75 will be opening in my town of Dayton, OH and one of the attractions is a 4D motion theater. The first thing that popped in my head is "finally, a real holodeck". The 4D motion theater seats 4 and allows the user to feel the effects of wind storms, snow blizzards and more. The complex will have 2 of these theaters but I'm sure there will be more to come in "the future".

As they say in the temporal mechanics department, there's no time like the present.

So what does it mean by 4D. I'm pretty sure that would be scientifically impossible if they actually meant the 4th dimension. From what I can tell, It's 3D that makes you feel like your part of it by using special chair thingies (despite popular beleif, 'thingies' is a highly scientific word).
