Besides which if Roddenberry (and Star Trek) were anti-Semitic then why would there be so many influences from Hebrew on particularly Vulcan culture?

I've always thought the Vulcans were the default Jews of Star Trek (or possibly the Bajorans) !

The Bajorans. That's right. That's exactly right. DS9 was modeled on a World War II template, with the Bajorans representative of the Jews, the Cardassians as Nazis, the Federation as the Allies, et. al...

There are no obvious Christian or Muslim characters either so there you go. For the record I'm a Christian by the way. But it doesn't really bother me it's just a TV show. Most television shows aren't like real life anyhow.
