>hey red, i dont think we ever got ur take on the actual debate... do u think a lone jedi could take down a starship? is intelligent debate a thing you're capable of, or u did u just come on here to complain about a conversation that u didnt have to take part in?
> |
First of all, no one over the age of 10 who doesn't know how to capitolize letters and doesn't know the difference between the pronoun you and the letter u has any right to question anyone's intelligence.
Secondly, am I capable of debating this? Indeed I am. As I said, there was a time when I not only got caught up in these debates but got caught up in them very passionately. Then I grew up.
And last and most certainly least, how do I feel about the topic question? I think that it is by far the stupidest question in the history of stupid questions. You see, over the years I've seen so many of the warsie vs. trekkie threads. Some of them made at least a little sense (Star Destroyer vs. Federation flagship, Death Star vs. Doomsday Machine, who's made more guys cream their pants by wearing ultra-tight, semi-transparent white gauze between Natalie Portman and Jolene Blalock, that of course is my personal favorite), and some of them are just an insult to the intelligence of anyone who has any intelligence. And this one is by far the worst of the worst, the cream of the crap. That's why I refuse to dignify the issue at hand by addressing it.
|
In other words he is just trolling the topic to make fun of people doing something he finds stupid

Hell yeah he or she could. There's no bridge security so he or she could stroll right up there, use the force to jolt the ship violently (there's no restraints on the bridge or dang near anywhere else, so massive injuries/casualties), or cause some sort of space anomaly that affects shields/warp/tachyons/drives the trusty Vulcan crazy (by Federation law every ship must have a emotionless yet brooding Vulcan on the bridge). Shoot, he or she would also have time to make love to a few crew members, have a holodeck outing, and visit 10 Forward. Perhaps pick up a few souvenir red shirts for the padawans back home.
It is curious how often you humans manage to obtain that which you do not want. - Spock

Again: we agree that's it's stupid. We're doing it because we think it's fun. If you don't think it's fun, then I don't understand why you're still hanging around here...unless you get some kind of pleasure out of trolling people.

OK, I'm done. Even I'm not sufficiently bored to keep argiung about this idiotic crap.
Let me, however, leave on this note: you warsie idiots are a disgrace to everything you allege to represent. George Lucas himself is classy enough to avoid these idiotic arguments, and if you truly believed in his vision, if you truly adhered to the message inherent in Star Wars, you'd do the same.

I'm not a warsie, I don't respect George Lucas in any notable regard, and I could really care less about your trolling.
Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

I voted Jedi, we have seen a lone Jedi or Jedi with a small team take over ships and even a Death Star, they could do the same to a starship, though it would not be as easy, Starfleet are far better trained than the Empire.
Never drink with your enemies! Well, maybe just one round...
