Captain- Picard, he epitomizes the Federation
Xo- Sisko, the man you call to get stuff done or if you need something punched
Tactical- Worf, if you want it dead, he's the man
Engineer- Scotty, if it doesn't work or you need to pull a solution out of your butt, he's the man
Helm- Paris, one of the only pilots that wasn't an extra, babbling about how much he'd been in space, or an annoying brat.
Science- Spock, no question
Operations- Data, no question
Counselor- Troi, hard choice being you have a hypochondriac trill with identity issues and a glorified cook that annoys people... guess you could go with no one like in TOS, but Troi at least knows she's eye candy and dresses appropriately.
Doctor- Bashir, Geneticlly enhanced and you always have the EMH backup.
Redshirts- Archer, Wesley, Neelix, O'brien and Kim, because they either deserve it(Archer), are incredibly annoying(Wesley and Neelix) or just attract bodily harm(O'brien, Kim and Archer too).

CO - Jellico (A military man, plain and simple. Get it done.)
XO - Riker/Kirk (Tossup, need someone that commands respect of the crew, can step into the captain's shoes at a moment's notice, & can challenge the CO without loosing his nerve or backing down... all at the same time)
CMO - Bashir w/ EMH (Two computer brains!)
Head Nurse - Ogawa (She's a thinking nurse, not the Doctor's secretary)
Engineer - Scotty (He's giving her all he's got!)
Science - Data (Make that three computer brains)
Ops - O'Brien (When you need somebody that REALLY knows what's going on, find an enlisted man)
Security - Tuvok (Law enforcement needs to be impartial, Warf is too "shoot first")
Tactical - Chekov (He's the best vepins officer the Keptin has)
Helm - Paris (One hell of a pilot!)
Comm - Sato (Who needs a UT?)
Counselor - Ezri (Who better to talk to about your problems than the person with MPD that makes you feel better that you're not as messed up as her--that and she's soooo friggin cute!)
Transporter Chief - Kyle (He was soooo under-utilized)
Navigator - DeSalle (Chekov already has a job)
Diplomatic Team - Picard (He's got a head on his shoulders), Janeway (Try telling that woman "no". I dare you.)
Morale Officer - Leeta (Fun to play [dabo] with, fun to talk to, fun to look at... just... plain... fun.)
Away Team - Kirk, Riker, O'Brien, Data, Warf, Chakotay, & Mal Reynolds [wrong show, I know. Sue me.] (They could all be dressed in red shirts and still kick ass and come back alive with the mission accomplished.)

Interesting choices. Jellico... was fun to watch those two episodes he was in. Though Riker, as the episode showed, isn't the best first officer for him. Data probably was the best one to put up with his command style. I just liked how he comes in, turns everything upside down, tells Troi to put some clothes on and "get that fish out of my ready room."
His crew may not like him, but he got the job done, though sending him into diplomatic negotiations probably wasn't Starfleet's best move. Really wasn't surprising in the Destiny novels he became the commander in chief of Starfleet.

Ship - USS Pegasus, with the phase-shifting cloak.
For a science/exploration mission, especially first contact, I'd put Picard in the captain's chair. If it's going to involve combat with a known enemy, I'd prefer Sisko, as Picard sometimes deliberates a little too long and Sisko isn't afraid to make tough decisions quickly and live with the consequences. In the event that the whole galaxy is in peril and we've only got a snowball's chance in Hell of saving it... Kirk, because everything he does is so crazy it just might work.
Beyond that:
!st Officer - Chakotay. First Officers need to keep the crew in line during a clutch, and frankly Riker's a nice guy but a tad wishy-washy.
Helm - Data, because he brings so much else to the table. Can I just have a crew of Datas?
Navigation - Nog, because we need to train up some young rookies for when the superstars retire, and also for super-hearing on away missions.
Tactical - Worf. A Klingon who can keep a relatively cool head? That's truly the best of both worlds. Plus he has the widest range of combat experience, versus the Borg, versus the Dominion, Klingon civil war...
Security - Odo. While I understand the need to give characters enough to do in any given episode of a television show, combining security and tactical never made sense. How can a security officer make sure no one's replicating crack below decks when he's stuck on the bridge, and how's a tactical officer supposed to be ready for action when he also has to inspect incoming cargo? And what happens in combat when you get boarded? Too much divided attention.
Communications - 7 of 9, as her Borg knack for number-crunching would help when decoding signals. Plus with her, Dax, and Data in the science lab we could solve just about any problem we might encounter on that end.
Science - Ehhhh... as much as I love Spock... gotta go with (Jadzia) Dax. Lifetimes of experience trumps superior reasoning ability. Plus, this crew was becoming a bit of a sausage-fest.
Engineering - Scotty. No engineer has ever held a ship together the way he did during Khan's surprise attack.
Medical - Science/exploration mission, Phlox. Combat mission, EMH w/ emitters. Hey, if it's a 24th-century ship, can't we just assume there's an EMH on board?
Bartender - Guinan, because having Quark on board would be unfair to Nog, and she's good at detecting any temporal funny business that might be going on.

It has to do with the kind of mission I am sending them to. For the standard exploration or diplomacy mission, the crew would be the following:
Captain Picard
First Officer Spock
Operations Guy Data
Doctor EMH
Chief Engineer Scotty
Tactical Officer Tuvok
Chief of Security Odo (Worf will still be around on the bridge somewhere lol)
Conn Officer Mayweather
If I need a Communications Officer I'd choose Hoshi Sato.
I would send them on a Galaxy-Class ship.
For a stealth operation, a lead ship of a Task Force or just some random battle, I'd choose the following officers:
Captain Sisko
First Officer Riker
Operations Guy Data
Doctor EMH
Chief Engineer Scotty
Tactical Officer Tuvok
Chief of Security Odo (Worf would be the away team leader lol)
Conn Officer Tom Paris
I would send them on a ship best suited for the task (Defiant or Intrepid class)
I'm a huge Star Trek fan from Germany! I'm currently working on my own series, so stay tuned. (I will update this signature eventually)

I would send them in on an Intrepid class ship...
Bridge crew would consist of:
CO - Kirk
XO - Sisko
OPS - Data
TACT - Tuvok
SCI 1 - Spock
SCI 2 - Janeway
CONN - Sulu
ENG - Torres
------------
Chief Engineer - Scott
Transporter Chief - O'Brien
Chief Medical Officer - Bashir (w/ standard EMH)
Nurse - Ogawa
Counselor - Troi
Astrometrics - Seven of Nine
Wesley Crusher, who will replace a bridge officer in case of death, etc
Sisko, Janeway, Spock, Sulu, and Scott would have to accept temporarily being reduced in rank to Commander.

Okay, I'm just gonna assume this isn't a diplomatic mission. So here goes. Captain: James T. Kirk (and obviously Picard if it's diplomatic), First Officer: gotta stick with TOS and say Spock. He and Kirk just compliment each other well. Riker would also be a good choice. Kirk and Kira would just constantly butt heads. Chakotay would just be ineffectual. And T'Pol, while being Vulcan which is what Kirk likes at his side, would be too much of a distraction for the ole space-ho., Doctor: The Doctor, Chief of Security: Odo, Engineer: Trip, Pilot: Tom Paris (who else?). Ship: Enterprise E, bar none.
