There were NO huge nuclear-type explosions, no massive shockwaves, nothing at all to indicate the kind of energy discharge, not even remotely, on the scale that Saxton claims.
Yet another Trektard that seems to think atmospheric effects should occur in space.

Well if the Borg ever did get into trouble fighting the Empire, all they have to do is assimulate a tribe of bow armed teddy bears and bring the Empire to its knees

Raven_CWG:
I think I must disagree with you regarding this; Darthy had not simply asked whether the figures were "accurate" but "how seriously should these ICS yield stats be treated in regards to overall canon". His question was based around the idea that the ICS stats should actually be considered lesser or even non-canon because they were contradicted by other parts of the canon; I know this because "Darthy" is in fact Marshall8472 of this forum, and he asked the question in response to a discussion he was having with me on the subject of the ICS figures - he admitted after the fact that he had hoped Mr Chee would declare them to be S-canon or N-canon due to the inaccuracies he argued they contained.
Were the ICS figures wrong or lies as you suggest, they would no longer be considered canon; for example, Boba Fett's original EU backstory was pushed out of canon by the advent of Episode II, and the Coruscant Nights books were published with some dating errors which were therefore deemed non-canon. This is not the case with the ICS stats however; the figures are still considered canon.
I think I must also disagree with how you are portraying Dr Saxton; I am also broadly familiar with the versus community dramas, having watched them from afar (though never participating beyond a handful of threads on this forum), and to the best of my knowledge, rather than participating heavily, Dr Saxton has never entered the debate at all - indeed his only tie to it is being friends with a handful of versus debate members.
I would suggest that there is danger in using partisan language about "agendas", "lies" and other highly charged claims - in reality, he has simply come to a different conclusion than you.
Regarding the effects of turbolasers striking hulls, I had actually said previously that it was impossible to gauge the amount of energy being absorbed by the shields or the hulls - they're a fictional exotic material with completely undefined properties. Not to mention the massive amount of other factors in play which will skew results; how much of the shot was absorbed by shield before it failed? Are the shots heavy, medium or light turbolaser strikes? How much of the reactor power is being put into the shot? The ICS figures are maximums; in reality the ship's power will be diverted between the weapons, shields and engines - 200GT per shot is fine for a BDZ operation where nothing's firing back, but a combat situation is completely different.
There's also the fact pointed out by others that you appear to be expecting to see atmospheric effects of a bomb - however they are in space and are directed energy beams not warheads.
Regarding the seismic charges and 100MT warheads, what I was trying to suggest was that the presence of these weapons would be somewhat problematic were your suggestions regarding what Star Wars weapons should be capable of correct - it would mean that a weapon available to a Bounty Hunter and warheads used in ground combat are significantly more powerful than the heaviest capital ship weapons. That seems... off. Indeed, why are these weapons not regularly fielded against capital ships if they should theoretically be so much more deadly?

If I may make a suggestion, let's just put all the cards on the table and say all of the trek universe vs all of the wars universe.
And when I say this I mean everything that has been seen from every trek series and movie (well maybe not trek 09 as it restarted everything), and everything that has been seen and read in the wars universe. An all out no holds bar battle to the finish.

Camorite-Interesting but we do need some kind of paramiters. Allow me to suggest a few
-films and TV shows only (which includes the SW Xmas special but NOT any Shatner singing shows)
-Who fights who? Does the Rebs and Imps tag team? Do all the ST races sign a pact over some ractaginos at Quark's?
-The tech question is an unfair one to the SW fans. Science fact had no influence on Lucas, he had a story to tell and science be damed (which a lot of story tellers do0
ST had NASA advisers and just think of all the ST tech we are living with right now (cell phones, sat tv, Ipads, growing body parts, bio read out beds etc)
And PLEASE lets have some decorum! If this starts sounding like a sports talk radio phone call it will make all of us look bad

We already have parameters we use each franchies respective canon rules for trek that means tv shows and movies for star wars that means movies firsts then tv show then books and video game story lines. Science really has not role in Star Trek they only pretend to be scienfic. Some myths about trek http://www.stardestroyer.net/Empire/Tech/Myths/Myths_ST.html

OK, let's just say that q puts both universes up against each other,. Political, cultural, and personal dislikes are abolished, old weapons are dusted off or brought back to life (ie, the doomsday machine, phasing cloaks, sect.), ect.
Will that work for you?

And it was only by chance that kirk discovered this weakness in the machine. In other words if they don't know about it then it is jot a weakness.
