Interesting story about Obamacare fees pushing companies to drop spouses from medical insurance plans.

A friend of mine hated Obama's new taxes. (They hit her hard, since she's part of the 1%) She doubly hated the whole benefits that she had to provide.

So she fired a number of employees that she felt were just hanging on for the benefits. She didn't hide the reason for their termination, either.

The employees she retained got the message. And that message spread to replacement employees; if you want this job, you have to work for it.

She's now happy. Company profits are offsetting the extra taxes she has to pay as well as the extra benefits costs.

Republicans think this is bad.

Remember when Obamacare advocate Paul Krugman castigated and maligned anyone and everyone that bought up death panels and higher taxes when talking about Obamacare?

Obamacare is stupid law.

Problem: 30 Million don't have health insurance. Medical costs are high.

Solution: Require everyone to purchase health insurance.

Result: More uninsured, costs continue to increase.

Brilliant.

GAO just came out with another report on Obamacare.  Guess what?  Deficit spending is now projected to $6.2 TRILLION just for Obamacare.  This is yet another increase from previous reports.

But then again, if we look at any other government project (especially entitlements,) actual costs are many times larger than original estimates.

Hmmm.... Fed's own report cites businesses complaining that Obamacare is a drag on sales and hiring...

Businesses are planning "layoffs and reluctant to hire more staff"

"client companies are hiring the absolute minimum to get by"

Naturallly, because there are not means to control the pricing in a government system.

Paul Ryan's budget is also looking to defund Obamacare. Looking forward to that.

That stack is just the current Obamacare regulations.... nearly 20,000 pages so far....

You try complying with all that mess and then still say that this is a free country?!?!

And once again Obama has ignored the law (again) and chose not to submit a budget to Congress..... just like every other year of his presidency.  (I doubt anyone is surprised.)
