I know the non corporeals from the episode Observer Effect were not the Q.

BUT

Did anyone else have the same knee jerk reaction I did, hoping that they were??

Sorry if this has been done2death, couldnt find a previous post and Im new here.

I never really thought of them as being at all similar to the Q, to be honest. Then again, they didn't seem to be very similar to the pacifistic Organians in TOS, either. I guess their society changed.

And welcome to the ST forums, by the way! I doubt this topic has been covered at all, least of all "to death".

I couldnt help but make a comparison when it became clear they could manipulate pretty much(how i took it) whatever they want, even reviving the dead.

And at the very end acting like 5000 years was an short time to them.

to tell the truth, the first timev I saw the episode I didnt draw a connection to either.

they seems tyo "un-like" the Q or the Orgainens.
