Sadly stuck voting against BHO than for anyone. I weep for the process and stupidity that shall follow.
The only viable candidate I can support is me. I have not decided to run at this tims, beut I do know I'm the only one I can trust to fix the disaster that is D.C.
Let the bridges I burn light the way.

"The only viable candidate I can support is me. I have not decided to run at this tims, beut I do know I'm the only one I can trust to fix the disaster that is D.C."
So Corwin, how would you go about getting on the ballot?
I thought about whether there was any political party that you would join in order to gain their nomination and a sudden epiphany came upon me.
Why the Republican Party of course. I mean Romney is clearly having problems securing the nomination. Santorum is winning primary states right and left and yet is still far behind Romney in the delegate count. Gingrich and Paul are even worse off. Clearly, a compromise candidate is order. Perhaps you should present yourself as that compromise candidate. The endorsement of your fellow bloggers here at Ten Forward would carry some weight. Clearly, you can do no worse at relating to the public than can Mitt. Your conservative credentials are evidently in order. If the response to this poll is any indication, there is as much enthusisam here for your candidacy as there is for Mitt Romney, and more than for Barack Obama. So clearly mass apathy would be in your favor. In the United States of Amnesia, everybody would quickly forget that you were unknown to the general public outside of Ten Forward a couple of months ago. So I say go for it!

I wouldn't burden any decent country with my ramblings and flavor of crazy. The only way I get more than one vote is if I can register my dog to vote. And even he is probably voting Ron Paul.......

I'm not American but I really like Gary Johnson.
When he was governor of New Mexico he vetoed more laws than the other 49 governors combined, he cut 1,200 public sector jobs but let the private sector create 20,000. He also cut taxes 14 times and raised them not once. The result: a budget surplus and an economic boom.
So the question is: why isn't he the Republican nominee?

Because the Republican party is full or ProRegressives.
Sad that a non-US person knows more about Johnson that 90% of America.

Well, as a lot of you have probably noticed, I am a very opinionated guy. However, for purposes of this thread, I am trying to keep my own expression of opinion to a minimum. So, instead, I will give you the highly unofficial delegate count to date for the Republican nomination as best as I have been able to determine it. This is derived from a combination of other media sources, but probably does not completely match any one particualr estimate. So this should be treated as an estimate in which I only have confidence down to about the two-digit level. The exact number count is much more difficult to arrive at.
Romney: 490
Santorum: 227
Gingrich: 126
Paul: 56
Uncommitted: No attempt to count.
As Americans, we sometimes suffer from too much pluribus and not enough unum.
