Star Trek

Sorry to jump into the conversation, but I can't resist a conversation about androids- especially my favorite three from Star Trek. 

Also, sorry again but to backtrack to an earlier message, but I was thinking the other day how much Tom Hiddleston would make an excellent substitute as Data or Lore if they ever did a Star Trek TNG prequel (but not done by JJ Abrams- No More Lenseflare). I was looking as Hiddleston dressed as Loki and I kept thinking- Make him gold and you've got yourself a Soong type android. 

@Antidaeophobia: That was the same thing I thought when I saw Tom Hiddleston in Thor and then when I went to google a pic of Tom Hiddlesston there was a pic of him cosplaying Data.

I thought that since Data always saved his memories in his computer, that his program could be downloaded to a hologram, from there, maybe he could figure out how to rebuild himself.

Ok I know this sounds really random but Data related........... I can't stop imagining him as a merman 

Hello there......My favorite "Data"  episode has to be the one where he creates a daughter- Lull. it is such a touching and "human"  episode. This one always gets me  at the end. 

Recently, I read a book in which people who were about to die could choose to download their intelligence, life, spirit, etc., into a durable, longlasting humanlike machine, so they could expand their lifetime.  Sort of like an android.

While I would prefer to become an angel, rather than prolong my human toils, I was thinking it would be so nice not to have to worry about taking care of so many physical things.  Wouldn't it be nice not to have to spend time taking a shower, brushing your teeth, shaving, going to the bathroom, etc.?  Wouldn't it be great if you could focus on mental, intellectual and spiritual things, instead?

Personally, I would prefer to be an android, rather than to waste so much time doing human things.

Ever since I've been seeing a lot of female fandubs for male Disney songs I got inspired that I should do a female fan dub of Data's song, "Blue Skies", from Star Trek:Nemesis
