This Friday, NASA plans to launch five rockets that will emit luminous chemical trailers that could enable scientists to see winds at the edge of space. These trailers should be visable to most of the east coast between Wilmington and Boston. Always cool to see space science from your back yard.

Note that the above link says it was planned for tonight, 3/14, but they have delayed the launch until Friday night.
