That's ridiculous. Nobody got mad at you (YET) -- that's a very different thing to merely asking you to back up your claim.

It's hard to say which one is the worse captain. All i can say is the worst type of captain is the one that just freezes when trouble is coming. Which is what all they apparently did. lol

Your mistake was putting it on the ds9 board where everyone will defend Sisko

Spock demonstrated weakness when a shuttle craft he was commanding crashed on an alien planet. He was unable to effectively command his fellow shipmates for a quick return to the Entrprise w/o someone dying. They were just being attacked by big cavemen.

I don't think any of the main COs were weak, they were just very different from each other.

Harriman sucked at first, but I imagine he would have gotten much better as he got used to his new command. Though I kind of wonder if he even had any ships before the Enterprise-B.

Yeah Harriman was bad, but he was a new Captain, plus you have Kirk on your bridge...not intimidating at all! Add to that your starship is in various states of assembly. Then the writers basically made it worse.

I'm putting my vote in for Captain Varley of the USS Yamato for not realizing a three finger salute of the computer core would have saved the ship. Control Alt Delete.

Kirk was a Captain at the time, remember?

Yes, true he made quite a few errors on that one - however Spock did learn from the experience and let his human side take over right at the end to save them

Out of the 5 main captains, Sisko was the weakest commander. Archer runs a close second behind him.

Can you substantiate this? It's easy to say that somebody is the weakest or whatever else. But what we need in this case are FACTS not opinions.
