NFW. Picard rules. I'm not saying it's Sisko, either, mind you. He may have been easier to provoke but he also knocked Q into next week...

No, I feel that Janeway does. Not because she is a women, but because she is always doubting her self and seeks advise to often. A strong commanding officer should be able to make tough decisions, and not continuously run to everybody asking there opinion and doubting the decision that they made. Janeway was great though, if I was stuck on a ship in the delta quadrant I'd want her as my captian, she's down to earth and nice, which was needed in the situation that Voyager was in.

I also think that you need to clarify about what you consider "weakest".
In term of overall power, Sisko was Captain of the Defiant and he was the Emissary. In term of Starfleet political power (rank and connections), Picard was the strongest. In terms of ships, Picard had a Galaxy-class vessel (although Sisko did have DS9). Physically (ie combat), Sisko also wins. Overall, I would have to say that the "weakest" one was Archer.

Sisko was commander of a station where some thousands of people (most of them civilians) lived. The Defiant wasn't a science ship or made for long missions away from a base, but in battle she had as much punch as a Galaxy class ship and more maneuverability. And the cloaking device. And for two years Sisko commanded a fleet! He should have been made an admiral for that, and if he hadn't joined the prophets he probably would have been. Instead, he was promoted to god.
Punching Q was just stupid, though. Sisko got sore knuckles and all Q got was mildly surprised. Must try to pick fights you have some chance of winning.

Captain Sisko has been one of my favorites I think Captain Archer was the weakest.

Let's see, Sisko was more of a diplomatic leader helping a planet find itself after years of brutal occupation and then it and it's entire sector being thrusted into the light thanks to the wormhole, when needed he was a cunning military leader who was able to see beyond the black and white of things both strategically and morally, and hell he punched Q. By far Sisko is my favorite Commanding Officer and was in no way weak. Each CO had their own strengths and flaws, it's not to say anyone was more weak than the other. If they were weak they wouldn't be a CO.

Sisko didn't take any crap from anybody with the Defiant and heavily armed station. He would also punch people in the face like Q and Garak for example.

I guess after watching "emissary" I thought that. Sosko was sort of a weak whiny jerk in that episode. But then, he got better. By the end, he was just intimidating.

Stop with the nonsense and don't get me laughing again...
when you think about it except kirk no one was even close to real commander or someone i would follow in battle, i mean they are all like a bunch of gays picard with his walking and stupid forced look like a weak kitty... Sisko with his no emotions i mean the entire series he looks like cartoon only flashing like a fagot ...
And don't even get me started on the "intimidating" fights, with are slaps that trow people half a room away and the fact that the actors are waiting to be slapped =]

Yeah, Sisko was the commander of the entire station. Sure, technically it was Bajoran, but he was still entrusted with the authority to run the station. Also, not only did he command the station, but the Defiant and significant portions of the fleet during the Dominion War. He had for more influence over events on his series than the other Captains. All of them only commanded single ships.
