After nearly making it through the first season, I gotta admit I am totally hooked on ST:ENT (watching nearly an entire season in less than a week probably says that for me, hah). Sometimes there are little plotholes that make me nuts, but that's true of just about any form of televised entertainment, so the point is essentially moot.

But here's where I'm at: DS9 never really did it for me, but I haven't watched it in it's entirety or order, so my opinion may change should that ever happen. Same with Voyager, but I really like that one. Still love the original and Next Gen and JJ Abrams reboot is fantastic and I'm excited to see the new direction.

But back to Enterprise: the characters are believable and fun. The interactions are amazing and Scott Bakula is the bomb. The writers are great at interactions. The "Shuttlepod One" episode that was just Malcolm and Trip head-butting personality wise was genius and deserved at least a Hugo nod.

This series of the franchise is the red-headed stepchild in many Trekkers eyes and I don't get it. It's fantastic!

Okay, back to "Rogue Planet."

Live long and don't be a jerk.

Everytime there is a new direction in everything, people -especially fans- are edgy. It's expected and in many cases with a good reason. But there can be no future without change, especially one that respects its foundation. That's ENT for me.

Let's see where JJ gonna take us.

I agree st: ent is amazing. seasons 3 and 4 are every bit as elegant as tng but somehow more homey--the grittier ship, trip, and archer. It has taken over my life this first qtr of 2012.
