The word fits...


It's just that with 'chronology' your referring to any liear history of events, without defining which is the one that the characters, in their ficitional world' perceive as the correct one.

true, but thats why they need to name/number the different universes/timelines/continuities.

True true. You can't have JJ's Timeline and the Prime be called the same...


I still can't say chronology = canon, because that would mean that Vena's SS Columbia made it to the Talos Star Group without Warp Drive, the first starship to have Warp Drive was the Bonaventure Class, and Capt. Pike remained on Talos IV (because it was shown) but he also was captain till his accident (because that was also shown), if I follow your definition correctly.
