Just have to shake my head...
Somone rented several billboards from Clear Channel with the following image:
But the ProRegressives have called it "voter suppression" and racist, saying “This billboard is nothing but a symbol of pure, unadulterated voter suppression to target an African American community,” (said by Ohio Sate Senator Nina Turner)....
So Clear Channel is removing all the billboards.
So allowing the Black Panthers to stop legal voting is okay.... but stopping voter fraud is racist and suppressing legal votes? 
And, Clear Channel just supports that view...

When dealing with any news source be it liberal or conservative I try to find stories from both sides about the issue or event. I find that the truth for the most part lies somewhere in the middle between the two stories. |

About those billboards...
The majority of them went up in minority neighborhoods, leading to speculation that minorities were being targeted by the ad campaign. Because of the controversy, the sponsors of the billboards (NOT Clear Channel) decided that the best course of action is to take them down.
Incidentally, the billboards should never have gone up in the first place. The sponsors of the ads wished to remain anonymous, which is against Clear Channel's company policy.

Yea.... I saw that they pulled it. It's quite funny though that their editorial process would even allow something so ludicrous to go down that track, let alone be posted.

not really. A combination of a slow news day and incredible pressure to fill a lot of space and scoop the competition. I used to have a client who was a news reported and it wouldn't be unusual for him to come in and ask me if I had any story ideas 'cause it was a slow day and they had an hour of tv to fill.
and that was way in the early days of the internet. The pressure is probably 100x worse now
