Of course not!!!  Why would the American people want to be told the truth???

Remember the DS9 episode "Covenant" where Mika gave birth to Dukat's baby?  The followers of Dukat believed the lie that he told about it being a sign from the Pah'wraiths - just like the lamestream propoganda machine believing and echoing every lie the administration says.  What will it take for them to see?

Yep - that's how many showed up until people started demanding coverage.  Still, even though more are showing up, the "press" isn't really covering what's going on.
