I think that if Doctor Who and Q teamed up it would be like ying and yang (without the evil). The Doctor is trying to save the universe and Q wants to make the universe chaotic. It would however, be entertaining.

Absolutely not. Voyager took the Q continium and turned them into a bad sit-com family.

That is a little harsh. Voyager explored a side of the continium that never was explained in TNG. It answered questions on how Q's live and what their culture is like, and alot of it wasn't funny it was intense.

Death Wish was a very engaging and compelling episode. Had it ended there, I'd have no issue with Q's influence on Voyager.

Q and the Grey and Q2 were ridicioulous at best.

I HATED him the first time I watched Voyager, but now I love him!! I watched TNG a year after voy approx and I think he is very funny in both. Ok not so much in the first season in tng but when he "flirts" and teases with Picard =P He almost treat Janeway and Picard the same and thats hilarious to me.

-I never realised yout thought of me as reckless, Tuvok. -A poor choice of words. It was clearly an understatement.

"If I would have known you were weak to love, I would have appeared to you as a woman." Probably Q's creepiest comment to Picard.

While the Enterprises dealings with Q were highly entertaining, I think the real highlights were with Voyager, the dialogue with Janeway was probably the best, and the Q civil war, Q Junior, Mrs Q, hard to top that.

I think Q was meaningful in TNG.  He helps Picard assess his life in Tapestry and he helps the Fedration understand there is more to the Galaxy then just the Klingons, the Romulans and the Ferengi in Q Who.  Death Wish, however, was thought provoking and the Q and the Gray was fun (love Suzie Plakson).  I usually state that the Q was better in TNG and the Borg were better in Voyager.
