i think so. he has more story, becomes his own character rather than just the occasional badguy/goodguy.

and his son is awesome

Q is Q. He's the best no matter where he is at. He's introduction to the Voyager crew wasn't as adversariable because by the time Voyager came, it was clear Q was a fan favorite, so they gave the people more of what they want.

When introduced in Next Generation i found the Q character to be very ennoying and hoped it would be the last we would see of him. Pointless to say that did not happen, obviously. But as the character grew over the years, got more depth, i enjoyed him more and more. So yes, he's better in Voyager,IMHO.

It's been forever since I've seen Voyager, but apparently I liked Q, because one of the episodes I remember best is "The Q and the Gray".

Q is soooooo annoying in both TNG and VOY. But I really like Lady Q in "The Q and the Gray". Suzie Plakson is cool anyway.

I like Q. I can't decide whether I like him better in TNG or Voyager, though. Maybe Voyager.

But maybe TNG because he had more parts there. But I dunno. I liked him in both places.

I like Q, sure he is annoying, towcurling annoying as we say in the Netherlands, but he is cute and charming also, I always sigh of irritation, smiling at the same time. Folks, how would you act, knowing and being what Q is:-)?

I agree with the OP completely. I always hated Q in TNG because all he did was annoy people and play stupid pranks on people. At least in VOY, his stupid pranks had a purpose.

Well, first of all, I watched Voyager first, and now I'm watching TNG. I was definitely creeped out when I watched the TNG pilot, but Q Who? was a lot better. I think I liked him better in Voyager though. It got more personal. I mean, it can't get much more personal than asking the captain to procreating with him...

I agree completely with Hugues!

Q annoyed me very much at first (Encounter at Farpoint), but after seeing more of him, I started to get the idea.

I still wonder what would happen if Q met Doctor Who.

I personally thought Q was good in both series, but his presence on Voyager was a good tie-in to the other series and one of the few that could've happened considering the distance that Voyager was stranded from Federation space.

I thought that in VOY and DS9, Q had become a gimic, or fan-wanky with the exception of Death Wish.

In TNG, Q was great because it showed mortals proving to this superior being that they aren't as inferior as the god-like beings believe.
