Nah, not the Boondocks.
The guy who was behind Samurai Jack was Gendy Tartakosvy, who also created Dexter;s Laboratory and the Powerpuff Girls. All good shows.
I'd say Paul Dini, except that the man is a comic book guy, not a science fiction guy per se. On the subject of Batman, I'd suggest any of the teams involved in the making of Batman: Gotham Knight.

Ok the Guy who directed Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex was pretty good. The animation was smooth and realistic. But What abiut Mamoru Oshii? He was the one that the the first Ghost in the Shell and Jin Roh and they were pretty realisitc in the art. (if you noticed that amoung the directors that I only down the ones that made realistic animation)

Would all the voices be the same actors as the original DS9? (especially JULIAN?)

Okay yes, I'd say Oshii is a good choice. His style is serious and would fight the tone of DS9 probably better than any other show, specially with the gritty feel of the station.
Any animated Trek should have a realistic feel to it I believe, and by that I mean correct proportions and so on, not like the cartoony CGI for The Clone Wars (which is a good show regardless).

If they are going for CGI, then I think that the people Behind Advent Children should to the helm.
But Oshii, (See Jin-Roh) Does provide not also good animation but good Storyline..Like give him his room to workout the storyline. But expect Basset Hounds in the backgrounds.
It would be cool to have him as the director (Pictures Kira in a Jem'Hadar cloning factory with a phaser rifle shooting up the Jem'Hadar like Batou in GitS 2)

A more compatible setting for his talents would be to do a pregquel to DS9, showing Kira's battles during the Cardassian Occupation. All the dark colors and action involved are much more in style with GITS.

You know with that idea..I think a Flash back would be cool. Like Since Kira Commanding DS9, it's now during peacetime. But there is a terrorist cell that fallows the Pa'raths that is targeting key Allied officals from Starfleet to Klingon. So Kira and the DS9 crew have to stop them. But her days as a Resistance fighter catches up to her, which caused her to question what she did during the occupation.
The Deep Space Nine crew consist of
Colonel Kira Nerys: Now Commander of Deep Space Nine.
Commander Ezri Dax: Commander of the Defiant
Lt. Comm. Nog: New chief Engineer.
Dr. Julian Bashir: Still Doctor of Deep Space Nine
Lt. Comm Alexander Rozhenko: Station's Stratigic officer
Lt. Ro Laren: New Chief of Security.

Wait, are they actually doing an animated series for DS9? I certainly hope not! That show was awesome and finished on a strong note.

Well it's more like the Good Star Trek movies. If they focus on certian aspects and not go in the route of the novels (kinda pissed that they made Sisko leave his family). Then it can work.
