Jadzia Dax. She's lovely.

Garak, but if we are going for only main characters I would pick Captain Sisko.

I like all the characters on ds9, but if I had to chose favorites, I would pick Captain Sisko, Odo, Bashir, Garak, and Vic Fontaine. Jadzia Dax and Quark come at a close second.

So far I have to say Garak is my all time favorite along with Gul Dukat following behind him. As for the main cast Odo, Bashir, O'Brien, and Jadzia Dax are all tied in a tight knotted lead. 

I would have to say Quark, although not a very influential character to the safety of the station and those on board, I think that he has great personality, and is a great member of the DS9 cast.

Jadzia Dax. I enjoyed her connection with the Klingons through Curzon Dax; I enjoyed all her past hosts and she had her own playful personality. Quark would be a close second as a favorite. 

I've always been fond of the recurring characters, but my fave among them is Thot Gor.

See: my username and/or avatar. Garak is, outside of George Costanza, the best character in TV history IMO. I just love that little rascal!

After that? I would say it's a tie between just about everyone else. Love those Ferengi, love those Klingons, love the villains, the Bajorans, the hu-MONS, everyone.

BUT. I would like to spread a little recognition for a most unheralded member of the crew. A character without whom everyone else would be an empty shell. A gentleman, a scholar, a hero. Women want to be with him, men want to be him. The  legend...
