When GWB was President he was blasted for the price of gasoline by everyone who could string a sentence together.
Now in 2012 BHO is getting exactly Jack and or Shit over it.
I wonder why. I see no end in sight for the current rise in prices. But I'm sure that someone not tied to Big Oil is no longer in the Oval Orrifice we shall see Barry fix this issue right away. As soon as he fixes unemployment and the economy. Yeah, right.

The Lamestream media is owned by Obama - he doesn't allow them to discuss truthful things about him...
What happens if the predictions are right that gas goes above $5 in some parts of the country this summer? Of course, I seriously doubt the media will remember that Obama has limited energy production in the USA.... exactly like he promised in his campaign.
Did see a release talking about how the White House funnels information to the lamestream propoganda machine through Media Matters....

You know what makes it even worse, if it is possible?
I can pass by a station and say it is $3.49, say an hour later it goes up to $3.65. I thought they were allowed to change prices on certain days (or is that just on the NJ Turnpike?)....and then maybe 2 or 3 days later it goes up again. It is just sickening.
Especially since they wanted to build something to link Canada and US oil together which would have made prices cheaper and given both economies a big boost with new jobs.

The profit the oil companies make per gallon is less than the amount of profit a farmer gets from the same amount of milk. And getting milk out of a cow is a little easier than finding oil under the sea, building a huge rig to drill down to it, pump it up to the surface, pipe it to the shore to be purified and then sent to the petrol station. If you know a cheaper way let the oil companies know, they'll love you.

>costs cents to make, sells for over $3 per gal.
>look at the profiteering and extotionate mark ups and the state taxes if you want to see why gas prices are high. |
Costs a whole lot more than that....
And if people would actually look, their profit percentage is very low - and a whole lot lower than the tax percentage on the gas...

Saw that even Obama admitted that gas prices have gone up (83%) during his tenure... and using that as a reason to extend tax cuts.

Missing the point.
Why has no one hammered Barry for the same issue GWB was repeatedly pounded on?
Feel free to explain it. I already have a theory.....

I'm hearing $6 / gallon in some places.
Just saw a video about it - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TRl4zj8Idl4
It’s interesting to note that the ABC video report made sure to point out that most of the money paid at the pump gas goes to oil companies, but was noticeably silent about the Obama administration policies and positions that have contributed to rising prices (i.e. blocking the keystone pipeline and rising inflation). Additionally, they only talked about where the money went, not the percentage of profit - tax % is much higher than profit %.

During the Bush administration, prices jumped almost $4 (in some places $5) per gallon within a period of months. During the Obama administration, prices rose $0.50 over the course of a couple years. It's considerably different.
Now, if prices jumped again like they did during Bush, then you can bet you'll hear more than just a bit of grumbling.

Blocking the keystone pipeline has nothing to do with today's oil prices as it would take years to construct until such time as it could deliver oil to the market.
Why is it conservatives insist we should do nothing to develop alternative energy sources even though that would free us from a dependence on foreign oil, and then bellyache whenever that dependence results in higher oil prices?
As Americans, we sometimes suffer from too much pluribus and not enough unum.

Gas prices are not rising, the dollar is falling. Until the price of gold, yes gold, goes down, gas prices will keep going up, relatively.
The Keystone pipeline is a useless talking point in terms of how oil is being traded. Stop listening to FOX news.
