The rewatch value of DS9

I personally think its the best series to rewatch.

DS9 is the best series hands down. I could watch it all day.

I am currently watching DS9 again from the beginning and am due to watch "The Search 1&2" tonight or tomorrow. I can't wait for the introduction of the DEFIANT! With that said, I have to say that it is still my favorite show.  Excellent episodes include "Duet", "Dramatis Personae" "The Wire" "Blood Oath" "Paradise" and "The Jem'Hadar".  I would consider these 6 as "classic" episodes where STTNG's first 2 seasons had...maybe one "classic" episode..."The Big Goodbye".  By the way, even as this is my "first" post, I am an old veteran of this site, and have just returned.  Good to be back!

I have rewatched DS9 3 times so far. I find it better every time.

I just watched Deep Space 9 through for the first time in years again and had forgotten just how good of a show it was. I was rewatching TNG a while back and did not have the same feeling, there were some episodes that I almost wanted to skip over entirely with TNG where as with DS9 anticipation drove me through the episodes like crazy.

I can't speak to the rewatch value, but I am watching it chronologically for the first time, rather than just reading about it online and watchign random episodes in Fan Collectives. I seriously underestimated how good it is.

I have the whole series of DS9 on DVD long with all the other Star Trek televison series. I watch DS9 the most. It has it all! Drama, special effects, great make up with many more aliens, battle scenes unmatched by any other sci-fi series, controversy, religious orientation, betrayal, sexy characters, Cardassians, Jem Hadar ust everythiong!! DS9 is clearly my favorite and I watch it everyday!

I've watched the entirety of DS9 three times since 2003.


The only other Trek series I really revisit is TOS.
