recently i was watching the bonus material for season 5 of Stargate Atlantis and they had a feature about Coner Trinneer's character on the show, Michael Kenmore. In it Conor mentions that he is more well know at conventions for Michael then he is for Trip.

So the question is if you ran into him at a convention which character would pop into your mind first, Michael or Trip.

Yes, "TRIP" is the character I think of, Michael Kenmore is on season 5 dvd of Atlantas, and I like him in that. Can we mention TO BRAVE THE STORM epilogue here?

He's more noted as being Trip, but I think he was better as Michael. It's like there were times on ENT when he was trying too hard to convince of the Southern charm his character was supposed to have.

Actually if you look at the poll, you will see that both has gotten almost as many vote as just trip did. So based on that I don't think that it is biased against Micheal at all.

I said Trip because he was Trip for four full seasons. Keep in mind that many of us who loved him as Trip watched every SGA episode with Michael just to see Connor work. He became well-known for Michael because he is such a wonderful actor that they wanted to keep bringing him back.

In fact, the SGA Casting Director jumped at the chance to get Connor and never saw anyone else for the role. Connor saw the role description and had his agent/manager call SGA for an audition. The Casting Director said something to the effect of, "If Connor Trinneer wants it [the role], it's his." Connor loves telling that story at convention Q & A's, and we love hearing it!
