I can respect a first officer with a beard, early TNG he is young Cmdr. Riker but in later seasons with the beard he is more mature. So all im saying is that he is much better with the beard and as far as insurection goes he looked goofy.

Beard!! Although I kinda wish the poker game had been completed in The Quality of Life episode. Crusher bet the men's beards against her red hair. Would have been interesting to see...
