Hughes choose a particularly interesting picture for "Without"

He NEEDS the beard. It's part of who the character was. Without it, he's back to being Jonathan Frakes. It was weird to see him without it in Insurrection.

I like Riker and Jonathan with a beard. Just looks better on him. And for Riker he looks more mature, you can take his seriously.
