I believe that Brent Spiner and Patrick Stewart are the best actors in the series. Brent Spiner brings the youthfulness and innocence of Data while Patrick Stewart brings out the poetic and intellectual side of Picard.

Most of them do pretty well, but Patrick Stewart stands out the most...he's hard to compete with.

Burton, no contest. he was able to act / portray his character without the use of his eyes, on the whole

I changed my mind: I have to appreciate Jonathan Frakes after watching "Frame of mind"! It was an incredible performance!

Patrick Stewart. You can tell captain Kirk is still William Shatner but with Patrick it's the opposite, he turned himself into Jean-Luc Picard.
