Where to find Star Trek conventions in my area?

Greetings everyone I am Lady Data and I have been a fan of Star Trek for 2 years and I am barely finding out that there's such thing as Star Trek conventions. Since I want to attend a Star Trek convention that is available in my area. Where can I find a list of Star Trek conventions that are happening this year?

I'm in South Africa (Cape Town). There definitely wouldn't be any Star Trek Conventions in my area, unfortunately. Pity it isn't more well-known here.
