INTERESTING QUESTION. MAYBE THEY HAD SOME SORT OF LITTER TRAY LIKE A CAT. OR MAYBE THE CAPTAIN TOOK HIM TO THE HYDROPONICS GARDEN WHERE HE COULD FERTILISE THE CROPS AND PEE AGAINST A TREE. YOU WOULD HAVE THOUGHT IN THAT DAY AND AGE THE FOOD SUPPLIED WOULD BE NUTRIENT BALANCED AND NOT PRODUCE WASTE, BUT THEY ATE QUITE ORDINARY FOOD. ALSO THERE WAS AN EPISODE WHERE TRIP GOT ASKED BY SCHOOL CHILDREN ABOUT WHERE THE WASTE GOES.

Interesting I've never thought about it before. My guess would be Porthos uses a litterbox and then they dispose of it in some kind of waste matter incinerator or something.
