I believe Data will definitely make a good president for one he's intellectual and two he knows how to take command =D

I would not vote for Data...because it would only mean even more rambling, babbling, incessant, needless "Data-centric" topics on the TNG board.

And I think that's pretty much the last thing we need.

He could not be any worse than any other US President. Seriously, you guys have dogs of leaders. The last worthy of respect was Eisenhower. The rest have been a disgraceful rabble. Including a failed B movie actor and a simpleton son of another President, who then set the world in turmoil.

You know it is interesting, for many years I respected America. All through childhood, adoloscence and early adulthood I respected America. Since W was voted to a second term I have held America in contempt. I wish this were not so. And Republicans are the worst of the worst. I equate them with National Socialists. Can you guys do something about this sorry situation? I am uncomfortable feeling this way toward America.

Apparently, you're not an American. I tend to agree with what you said. Without question, it is up to American citizens to straighten all this out.

I am a devout Data fan and yet I will say that I do not think he would make a very good president.

However, at this point I would even vote for Spot. A-N-Y-O-N-E would be better... or at least, couldn't be worse.

Data is the best character on TNG and would make a great president. I would vote for him. He more human then all of us and he proved that with his ultimate transformation into a human when he sacrificed himself for his family on the Enterprise.

Data would make a perfect president, he is incapable of lying and any kind of deception - and these are well known "qualities" of politicians. Especially the ones in my country, Croatia. We are in a really deep crisis so I know I would want Data to be the president of my country! In fact, president and prime minister as well =)

Besides the fact that he doesn`t lie, he is extremely capable for solving problems.
