When Nero entered into the past, time skewed off into an alternate tangent, creating an alternate 1985. Does this mean that they have to go back to the future to fix the alternate time line?

I tire of these self proclaimed keepers of continuity when they can't even get facts right about the prime time line, never mind conveniently skipping over the FACT that ST09 occurs in a new changed TIMELINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But yet some how they except and understand what's taking place in any of the mirror universe stories that have been seen in so many of the spin off series.

What part are they not understanding? Or is it blind hate for hates sake that drives their passion?

>Your welcome about the parallel universes/ timelines

Well with ST09 in the equation now, I suppose you could call STO a possible or alternate future rather than a non-canon one.

Besides, Doc Brown said it best: "Your future hasn't been written yet! No one's has!"

Look, JJ Abrams got away with screwing us THIS TIME, but the next time we'll use the better part of valor and let our wallets do the talking, till we get our Star Trek back.

What could he do to get our Star Trek back?

And not jump straight into the 24th century? Come on be constructive.

I don't think "HE" can do anything right, servalanfan, if he can screw up the 23rd century I hate...HATE to see him screw up the 24th, TNG and DS9 is perfect, Abrams better not touch it, but I do hope people will get sick of his Trek and somebody good does go back to the 24th century to TNG,DS9 and Voyager...I hope.

I have a feeling that will happen sooner or later. Hopefully sooner; I preferred Trek when it was thought-provoking. But of course everyone here does.

Oh dear. As much as I react generally negatively to JJA's Sparkly Trek I prefer it to any suggestion that DS9 or Voyager are reactivated (especially the latter) in any shape or form.

JJA Trek might be a distortion and watering down of Trek to dumbass Trek, but at least it wasn't the absolute nadir of anything Trek-oriented like that Janeway drivel show.

to boldy go where no man has gone before
