Suzie Plakson.  She played several different roles and was believable in each role she played.

Without a doubt John de Lancie as Q. Every episode he was in was great, hilarious, and at times, thought-provoking.

I guess it depends on how we're going to define "guest star"

I immediate want to say John de Lancie - but wasn't his more of a recurring role? Then I go to Whoopi Goldberg - but that's kind of the same thing.

So if we're not counting recurring roles - I'm going to have to go with David Warner and Saul Rubinek.

So, five-card stud, nothing wild. And the sky's the limit....

I actually ahve two favorite guest stars from TNG and they are Mark Lenard and James Doohan. Seeing the former in "Sarke" was just a treat and while he did appear in part one of "Unification," it would be the last time he was in Star Trek before his death. As for Doohan, his role in "Relics" was really enjoyable and the scene where he's on the TOS Enterprise bridge made him realize that he really belonged there and that he was of no use to the TNG crew because things changed during his time. Still, I really enjoyed seeing those two and I was glad I saw those episodes.
