I guess Star Trek's way of signifying "strength" is to dress a character like they just got kicked off the set of a Mad Max movie...
Apart from that, it was pretty good. A little reliant on repeated sci-fi tropes, perhaps... Raises the question to my mind of whether the Augment characters would have been as screwy in their heads if they had been offered a more stable upbringing. Hard to say. Perhaps not.
Was good to see the Dr Lucas in person, with whom Phlox has been corresponding so regularly. The whole Cold Storage situation was a good conundrum too -- what to do with embryos that you don't want to kill, but at the same time don't really want to give a chance to live?
