Hey what do you think if they make another Star Trek game that takes place in Deep Space 9 station?

Playable Character: Ro Laren from The Next Generation and Colonel Kira Nerys

Plot:
Ro arc: A narcotic drug Ketracel-white left behind from the Dominion War has been circulating around Deep Space Nine. Ro as the new Chief of Security have to investigate the suppliers and the who has been distributing the drugs.

Kira Arc: Major figures who fought in the Dominion War have been assassinated one by one. With orders from Starfleet Security and intelligence to protect a Starfleet Admiral Curtis. Then someone tries to assassinate him with a phaser modded from Brog technology. An Anti-Borg Unit Headed by Seven of Nine, goes to help Kira and find out what's really been going on with Admiral Curtis.

The gameplay: The gameplay is divided up by Adventure, and Battle.

Adventure: Deep Space Nine is open to exploration. From shops, bars, residence, and station's facilities. Exploring the cultures of Starfleet by interacting Outside of the main missions. There are side quest that the citizens provide for you. From the little stuff (settling disputes) to the major things like breach in security. As Ro, more you complete the missions you gain the public trust. For Kira, as a station's commander, you have to train recurits that starfleet just sent over. sometimes you have to spend time with them. Such as helping them with their problems

Places

Clothes Shop: You can unlock uniforms (Old to new) and customize your character or Dabo girls.

Weapon Shop: Sometimes Starfleet weapons is not enough. You have to buy some other weapons ranging tom melee to phasers.

Bar: Socialize and meet new people. Quark will ask for favors to help out with the bar such as being a Dabo or keeping an eye on the place while he's gone. Also you can play games from different cultures. Then you have a karaoke bar.

Residence: Citizens of the station is top prority.  Sometimes funny things happen at the residence. Keep an eye out.

Personal Quarters: This is the place where you store you items, save or replay certain events.

Station Facilities: Starfleet Personnel Only. This is the place where you can explore deeper into the station. At times you have to take command in case of potential attacks.

Holodeck: Train youself or replay missions.

Battle mode:

During Adventure mode, you will come across problem that have to be handled in a physical way. Hand to hand combat is sometime frequent. Sometimes weapons is needed. Each phaser has a different function. From stun to kill. Also there is quick time sequence where you need to defeat an opponet.

So what do you think?

If they made a game like this for Star Trek Deep Space Nine. because It stay true to the storyline and it let's players explore the world of Star Trek. losely base on the Star Trek novels.

yeah I know I put two main female characters on there. But it's more interesting to have a female PC that is not like Lara Croft.

I'd certainly like another DS9 game (Harbinger and The Fallen were pretty interesting, but had their issues), but I doubt a game set in the previous Star Trek franchises would sell well post-J.J. Abrams Star Trek reboot, especially not a DS9 game, as it seems a lot of people hate DS9 almost as much as Enterprise and Voyager. I think the only non Abrams Star Trek that would work commercially would be TNG.

Well, Since I been reading the Non-canon plots, I think it would be intresting to have the DS9 game. but instead of a space adventure or a shooter. Just have a third Person RPG similar to the Yakuza games. (If you haven't noticed that's where I got the idea from) Either a full realistic CG (like Yakuza and Final Fantasy, LA noire) or an anime similar to the Persona series and Catherine.  Have a stand alone storyline and have some new and old characters. That's why I picked Ro and Kira for the lead roles.

Since this is a Action adventure RPG. Mights as well start off with some characters and more of the gameplay.

Characters:

Ezri Dax: New commander of Deep Space Nine. She is the one that trains the cadets in the station. In Kira's Arc, if you help her train her cadets, such as Holodeck training, spending time with them. When you level up each one, they will help you in a fight. Also if you spend more time with Ezri, she will assist you in the fights.

Julian Bashir: Station's doctor. In Ro's storyline, he will help you in your investagations with the drugs. In Kira, he will be working with Seven of Nine counter the Borg Weapons.

Quark: In Both Kira and Ro's storyline he will help you with information around the station. In the side missions you can work as a Bouncer to keep the bar in order, A Dabo girl, or to train Dabo girls. if you level up the girls will help you in fights ranging from fighting or distracting the enemy.

B'Elanna Paris: New Enginer of the station. She and Ro were former comrades in the Maquis. In Ro's Storyline she will help you get in the ships that is dock in the station without detection. Her side mission is to take care of her daughter. If you bulid her trust she will root for you during the fights.

More to come

Bonus Character:

Ezri Dax: In her storyline is that a Borg nanomachine is in the station. So Her and Ro have to search and find the borg in the station. Since there are ships docked at the station. You can visit the ships and meet it's crew or fight them.

Her levels ups include helping Ro and Kira out. Also spending time with Bashir. If you max out on Bashir relationship level. In fights he will give you a heath bonus

Did you ever play DS9: The Fallen for the PC or Mac?

If not, you really should.

IMHO, it's one of the top three ST games to ever be developed.

(The other two are Starfleet Command and Starfleet Command II: Empires at War. Just fyi.)

I'd be all for it. But I'm afraid it probably wouldn't sell in today's market.

The Collective, who developed The Fallen, went on to make a Buffy game and the Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb game for consoles.

I didn't play Buffy, but Emperor's Tomb was phenomenal. And the mechanics closely mirrored those from The Fallen.

And man, I LOVE The Fallen. In fact, that game is the sole reason DS9 got a second chance from me (as I'd given up on it after the first two seasons). In my opinion, The Fallen is the closest we will ever get to truly feeling like a Starfleet officer in a video game. Its use of Trek technology, especially in regard to tricorder scans and phaser modulation, was just aces.

I also dug exploring the confines of the Defiant, DS9, and a Jem'Hadar prison asteroid like the one we saw in "In Purgatory's Shadow" and "By Inferno's Light."

Gad, what a great game...
