Just a funny thought I had. (Presented strictly for fun.)

In Children of Time, one of the Sons of Mogh (descendants of Worf) mentions that he "slew a Yar bear".

Now we know that the Defiant crew started the civilisation on Gaia. And so none of the indigenous animals would have had names before they went there.

Do you suppose Worf might have named that Yar bear species... after Tasha?

Have you ever danced with a Tribble in the pale moonlight?

I do not recall that line, but that could be the idea.

Wow. Great catch. Worf highly respected Tasha as a warrior. If the yar bear was a ferocious animal, it makes sense.

Next time I watch this episode, I will listen out for the line.

Hmmm...cool. I wonder if it was intentional.

Worf and Tasha certainly had a unique relationship / mutual respect for each other.

It seems like it must be a ferocious animal, which nearly mauled one of the hunters to death.
