Hue, Lore, or Q?

Now imagine a new TNG movie was coming out. Now imagine, in any way that you please, the time slot of this movie (before the series, during the series, or after the series) and the actors and characters would look and act the same as they did in that time. Who do you think of these 3 side characters would make a great movie (the TNG cast doesnt even have to be in the movie. It can be under any circumstance you wish). Did you ever wonder who Hue was before the Borg assimilation, who Q terrorized when he was younger, who Lore was when he and the Soong family were still on the colony? Any plot you can think of! But who do you think would make a great movie and a movie plot? Somewhat like an X-Men Origin type of thing in some cases, the story behind the story shown on the show, the future of these characters, alternate realities.......WHATEVER!

Pick one and give your idea what the movie would be about. Please try to keep your thoughts positive if you can. If the urge to criticize is toooooooo strong.....then just let it out here. Better to let it all out here than somewhere else.

Enjoy using your IMAGINATION!

i always wondered why Q was not in a TNG movie. I guess he just didnt fit with the theme of the scripts.

i wish there would be a Trek cartoon featuring Q and the continue-um.

i totally forgot how to spell continue-um. hahahahaa

Any Trek film with ANY plot could be endlessly fascinating if Q was involved. Period.

I adore Hugh, but I don't think a film could possibly revolve around him alone. Maybe as part of some greater plot of another Borg-related plot we could meet Hugh and see flash-backs of his history. I loved him and kinda wished that we could have seen more of what happened to him!

hmm I think lore would be a 'good' guest for a TNG film bc he is so intersting. An idea is that Data ( they found all of his pieces back together and he is as good as ever) , Lore, and B-4 gets together and they have a big a big brotherly love fight over Data's emotion chip. Later on Dr. Soong comes back ( he trnsferred his mmemories to an android right before his human body died) and also dr. Trainor, and all Data's unknown brothers. Then the enterprise has all of thoose androids running around causing Picard to have a consent handpalm. At the end Data and Soong works on Lal and Lal then has a working  positronic net.

I love that picture Roboto, I guess Picard would do even more double facepalms and perhaps some starfleet adrimals too?

I'd prefer if none of them ever appeared again...but clearly the one with the most potential is "Q." I was always confused as to why no TNG movie went for one last hoorah with that character. Now I understand that he was already overused.

As far as Lore and Hugh...holy $hit...please...NEVER in a movie.

Which was best: I, Borg, Datalore, or All Good Things...?

Q. The story need not revolve around deLancy's character. The Q as s a force offer an enormous potential for trouble. There have been other powerful aliens that could buffer the Q. I don't have time to prepare stories though. I could if they put me on a retainer.

I just finished watching the entire seven seasons of TNG and then went back and watched the first few episodes. After rewatching "Encounter At Farpoint", I'm convinced that without John de Lancie's "Q" the show would have been cancelled after the pilot. In all the episodes he was in, he did an outstanding job of creating a love/hate relationship with the crew and the audience.

I couldn't stand the Lore character but loved the Data character which might be a tribute to Brent Spiner's  acting abilities. Even though he looked identical to Data, Lore was a bonafide threat and an outstanding villain. He was the anti-Data.

Even the guy that played Hugh did a very convincing job both in "I Borg" and "Descent".

With that said, I think that any one or all three would would help to contribute to a great story line.

My vote goes to Q!  Seriously!  A Q-based movie would be a field day!  Canonically, I presume you could do a Lore-based !prequel! (prior to his dismatling in 'Descent').  Same goes for Hugh.  It'd need to be sometime between his 'individuality' liberation a la 'I, Borg' and when Lore experimented on the Collective in 'Descent.'
