Not really. It might be fun for a while but then I'd end up like the Q on that dirt desert road in that Voyager episode "Death wish" looking bored.

Are you guys sure you'd turn it down? We humans live roughly 7 to 8 decades. As a Q we may one day become bored, but maybe after a few billion years.

I would be Q in a heartbeat. I could meet Socrates and Virgil. Shakespeare, Dostoyevski, Pope. I could see dinosaurs. Hell, I could be a dinosaur! I could witness the birth and growth of music.

There is too much to do. Are you sure?

That's the problem I have with this episode. Riker turns down the power of Q. No way. I don't buy it. Compleaty unrealistic.

Well why did Riker turn it down. i cant even remeber those powerful words.

Riker didn't really have a choice in getting them. Picard tried to talk him out of using the powers because humanity wasn't ready for them yet. Riker ignored this for a while and gave Geordie eyes, Worf a girlfriend, and turned Wesley Crusher into an adult. However, when all three turned down the "gifts", Riker realized he'd become corrupt and gave up the powers.

I would turn it down, personally. Even if I didn't become evil dictator of the universe, I'd eventually get bored.
