Perhaps as a starving artist you could break into edible arts.  Then, at least if your art doesn't sell you won't go hungry.

But being a broke college student how am I supposed to buy ingredients to make food art!? Le sigh

Just bought my 3-day pass, though I am not sure how much time I can actually spend there because I have to move that same week.

Also I will just wear my "shut up Wesley" shirt or one of the other Trek-related shirts I have, no need to create something silly out of tape and paper like that man did.

Jolan Tru, may your day be filled with peace.

267198ed (and everyone else for that matter), please email George Demonakos, the Travel & Operations Director, at george@emeraldcitycomicon.com to request star trek writer David Mack be invited to the con.  Be sure you specify which David Mack as there is already a comic artist/writer named David Mack on the guest list.  He has indicated an interest in attending if he is invited and with all his recent and upcoming releases he would make an excellent addition.  Thanks.

Just ordered me a First Contact uniform and a TNG skant for my wife.  Cosplaysky says it takes 10 days to make them and 6 days to ship.  Shipping was $40, but I've heard great things about their quality.

*cough* Seems college keeps taking away all my time for Trek boards.

Anyhow, I will be the girl who is dressed like Starbuck from BSG, I know I am a traitor but there it is.

Blond with red lip stick? I think I was in line with you for badges. I'm wearing an enterprise/millennium falcon shirt today. I will be in a first contact uniform tomorrow with my wife in a tng mini dress.

Blonde but no lipstick and was never in line for any badges. Wait, were you and your wife in the millenium falcon shirts? Because I saw a couple wearing those shirts, kind of a faded red color with white print. Well, I'll be at Wil Wheaton's awesome hour tomorrow so perhaps I shall see you sometime. I'll be wearing green pants and a black tank top over a grey one, basically the casual BSG crew wear.

Edit: Wait, I am silly, you mean the entry passes you pin to yourself? That line was ridiculous.

I will be at the 1 1/2 awesome hour and "Oh my with George Takei." I wasn't the guy in the red shirt. Mine was gray.

Yeah, that entry line was ridiculous. The people who didn't preorder had a shorter wait. One of the important people who is organzing the con works at a comic shop I frequent; I complained about the line to her.

So yeah, look for the red first contact uniform and the blue skant.

Well, that wasn't successful at all, I did not see any first contact uniforms somehow.

Almost makes the VIP pass seem worth it!

Also, I should have wrote this last night but today I am wearing tan pants, a maroon shirt and an ascot, for if you check this today.
