I've reached 1999 and the end of Deep Space Nine (as well as and Star Trek: Insurrection and some of Voyager's fifth and sixth seasons) in my favourite things:

Back to 1996 and the latter half of DS9's fourth season and the former half of it's fifth (as well as part of Voyager's second and third seasons and First Contact)

Back to 1995 and the latter half of DS9's third season and the first half of its fourth (as well as Voyager's first and part of its second).

The latter half of DS9's second season and the first half of its third (as well as TNG's seventh season, Generations and Decipher's CCG) are in my favourite things from 1994.

Deep Space Nine's first season and the first half of its second (as well as parts of TNG's sixth and seventh seasons, and the Judgment Rites computer game) in my favourite things from 1993.

I have now worked my way through all of DS9, here's the number of episodes I included as my favourites per season, rather than per calendar year:

Season 1 (1993) - 12 out of 19 (63.16%)
Season 2 (1993/1994) - 18 out of 26 (69.23%)
Season 3 (1994/1995) - 22 out of 26 (84.62%)
Season 4 (1995/1996) - 23 out of 25 (92%)
Season 5 (1996/1997) - 23 out of 26 (88.46%)
Season 6 (1997/1998) - 22 out of 26 (84.62%)
Season 7 (1998/1999) - 25 out of 25 (100%)

I'm not surprised by the general trend here, for the most part DS9 just got better and better. The result for the last season is particularly impressive though.
