So, basically, which Star Trek character is most like which Muppet. Here's my pics-

Capt. Kirk=Link Hogthrob- Yeah, this is pretty obvious, since Link is partly a parody of not only Kirk, but in my opinion William Shatner. Some TOS castmembers (George Takei mainly) described Shatner as egotistical and narciscistic, and Hogthrob is the embodiment of narciscism.

Leonard Mccoy= Kermit the Frog- Okay, this one requires some explaining. A lot of people think of Kermit as this Mickey Mouse type character, where he's always nice to everyone, but watch the original show and this simply isn't true. Like Mccoy, Kermit was essentially a good person, but he had a mean side and could sometimes get nasty when under pressure.

Geordi Laforge= Scooter- First off, they're both nerds, although Scooter wasn't portrayed as a tech whiz until Muppet Babies, and, more recently, the 2011 movie, in which it is revealed Scooter worked for Google before reuniting w/ the Muppets. Secondly, despite both being core members of the cast (according to imdb, Scooter appeared in 106 of the 119 original episodes, more than fan favorites Animal and Gonzo), they don't get the respect I believe they deserve. Laforge barely appeared in First Contact, and Scooter faded into obsurity after Richard Hunt's death.

Wesley Crusher= Robin- Both were brought in to appeal to children (while Muppets was a family show, there was no "kid" character before Robin), both are incredibly annoying, and both are largely despised by fans. Also, both owe their presence to nepotism (well, the same could be said about Scooter, but unlike Scooter, Robin sucks).

What are your pics?
