Yes, Data is funnier and more down to Earth too, and therefore actually more human than Spock, even though Data is an android.

Worf would be my number 1 because he would let me go on away missions and he would alway have my back. Data would quote rules and not let me go on away mission.

wasnt Data meant to be first officer at one point? Pretty sure I read that when Thom Riker was written in, the initial story was to have Will killed off, and Thom taking Data's post and Data becoming first officer.

Data would definitely be my number 1. He is difficult to kill, seeing as he is an android, and could store much information and it would not be able to be taken by force.

Had Miles O'Brien been a part of the command structure,
I think he would've made a hell of a first officer.
Nothing ever seemed to shake him! And he was a pro.

No doubt in my mind, Cmdr Beverly Crusher. If you have bothered to read her bio. you would know she's more qualified, than alot of the rest of the crew. Not only that, she would brighten up the bridge, what babe !!!!!
