Yeah, my mom hates that movie too. But She can't stand Jimmy Steward anyway. She doesn't like John Wayne either. I think she's a commie.

I had already posted my top 2 christmas story quotes in the movie quotes board: "Not a Fingah!" and "Sons of bitches! Bumpasses!". There are so many from this movie:


"A crummy commercial? Son of a bitch!"


"Tonight, tonight, its comming tonight, hot damn tonight!"


"Fra-gee-lay. Must be Italian." "Honey that says Fragile."


"Deck the harrs with barrs of horry, Fa rah rah rah rah, rah rah rah rah"


The best moments are when the dad is fighting with the furnace, and all the times Ralphie tries to get his point across that he wants the bb gun. Hell, the whole movie is great. Period.

I have never liked this Christmas movie.   I may try to re-watch it again someday...maybe get a different perspective on it.
