So when you see those people in Patterson NJ on their roofs every spring because of Flooding thank your local Governments and Insurance companys for trapping those people and condeming them to the hell of high water every year.

DNesh and I are forunate that our property only floods under extreme circumstances.

We will be able to recover from this mess and by laying out my own $$$ I can set us up to avoid another occurance.

But there are thousands who suffer from seasonal flooding every year and they can't move without taking a huge loss.

So if you ever wondered why those people stay in flood zones.

I know you weren't saying I was nasty because you don't know me. I think a lot of us just wanted to rush to the defense of folks like duck and Sonny (ofSpock) and others who really ARE nice, and yet haven't been around so much lately. They're the reason I miss this place and the good times we had, so here we are coming home to say so.

And who knows, from your standpoint, perhaps the very old-timers you think are nasty are the very ones I found too nasty to stay around!

Happy Thanksgiving!

I heard about your bad news awhile ago; I'm sorry.   I know this is a bit of a sucky Thanksgiving for people who've suffered all kinds of terrible loss this year (*hugs*, CO Fowler). It's not much to say we're thinking of you, but will say it anyway.

Thanks grigori. We sure did have a great time with lots of interesting discussions about ENT while on the board. Hope you had a terrific Thanksgiving Day.

Grigori, thank-you Cyber hugs to you    We survived today.  We released a few balloons with a note for Casey today at my dads.  Were going to have 6 of us at my mom-in-laws, but my dad fell a couple of days ago and didn't feel too good.  So DS#2 stayed with him since last night and will stay until tomorrow.

Kind of hard today with it being Thanksgiving and the two month mark since he died.  :; sigh ::  but we're leaning on each other.

Okay, sorry to bring the thread down......I do hope eveyrone had a safe and Happy Thanksgiving
