Bones.
Although I also like Pulaski, and the EMH was entertaining, particularly in the early years of Voyager. But they're really all just riffing on the Real McCoy.

I loved holodoc the most because Voyager was my first trek series. But I also loved Bones and Crusher. I like Bashir, but I never watched one single eppy of Enterprise, so I can't judge the doctor.
Also, I love holodoc because he's so talented and his personality is so complicated. His character is one of the most developed on the series. I never really got to know Bashir, but I also really care about Dr. McCoy. He just has a special place in my heart. :3

Phlox was awesome! I loved when he fed the tribble to his pet, lol. Hoshi's reaction was priceless!
Best doctor in terms of skill:
The Doctor: based on his program, he had the knowlege of all the greats, including Bones.
Bones: Old school and new school: he merged them well...now that I think about it, aside from the whisky, him and Kate Pulaski are a lot alike....
Phlox: It was almost like watching Star Trek meets MASH in his sickbay.
Crusher: I love Beverly, but this is skill, not whose my fave. She was brilliant, kind, and the kind of doctor we all wish we had as children.
Bashir: I'm gonna be honest, I forgot DS9 even had a doctor most of the time...

Yes they were and hands down, Robert Picardo was the best regular male actor on the show!

McCoy (TOS) is the best. His off-beat, dry witticism was always entertaining and his relationship with Spock is one of the best in all of Star Trek. Bashir (DS9) and the Doctor (VOY) were good as well. Crusher (TNG) and Phlox (ENT) were okay, but I did not find either remarkably interesting. Pulaski (TNGs2) was a poor substitute for Crusher.

McCoy is my dude. But I liked all of the Dr.'s. Crusher I think was the weakest one as a character.

I'd have to say McCoy, from the movies. Bashier is a close second since he was entertaining, and the EMH was great, but he was too McCoy-ish sometimes. McCoy at his finest has to be in The Voyage Home as he wonders around a 20th Century hospital, or as he described it "The Inquisiion"

>I think Voyager's doctor was amazing. But Voyager is least favorite series.
>Have to be honest, Dr. Flox was pretty cool from Enterprise too. While DS9 and TNG are my favorite, Dr. Bashir seemed too wimpy and Dr. Crusher seems like she would have made a better Orion slave girl.
>Just curious. Please don't hate if this has been discussed on previous threads... I'm new, and can't be bothered to sift through backlogs of pages.

You clearly didn't watch enough Deep Space Nine. Wimpy?
Dr. Bashir verbally eviscerated Kai Winn, the spiritual leader of an entire planet. And he did it without raising his voice.
He fought off a marauding telepathic alien while crippled with age, INSIDE HIS OWN HEAD
He held his own and came out alive in a battle with the Jem'Hadar at AR-558
and speaking of the Jem'Hadar, after being held prisoner by the Dominion for a month, he was instrumental in organizing an escape, helping save the lives of not only himself and a Romulan prisoner, but the Strategic Operations Officer of the most important station in the Federation and the future leader of the entire Klingon Empire. And unlike Phlox, Crusher, McCoy, or The Doctor, who would have used whatever nonlethal means nescessary to escape capture, when it came time to act, Julian Subatoi Bashir straight up SHANKED a Jem'Hadar soldier in the throat.
He was willing to stay beind on a planet with a platoon of Jem'Hadar soldiers undergoing the first stages of ketracel-white withdrawl, even though he knew it would likely mean his death at their hands.
He shot Garak!
He lured an operative of a dangerous organization to his Infirmary, then went on a nearly-suicidal mission inside that man's mind to get information to save his friend's life.
I could probably pull another dozen examples out, given more time. Yes, he started off annoyingly naive and pompous, but he matured. Like a real person does, instead of a television character. That's the way it should be.
Bashir: "Your sense of humor seems normal enough" / O'Brien: "I don't have a sense of humor." / Bashir: "Cough." / O'Brien. *coughs* / Bashir: "How's the sex life?" / O'Brien: "I don't have a sense of humor."

I have only watched Next Gen, Voyager, DS9 and now the new movie. I think my favourite is Crusher, followed very closely by the Doctor, than Bashir. Though I really like the new McCoy. The way he kept jabbing Kirk with that hypospray was hilarious. Acutally... I like him better than Bashir.

Karl Urban did a great McCoy. Out of all the new cast members, I think he and Quinto are the most faithful to the original show. But his McCoy is a lot more spot-on than Quinto's Spock-in-love. His "all I've got left is my bones" line was just great. What they need in the next movie is a scene with the three of them arguing or him and Pine's Kirk just drinking and talking.
