I think Voyager's doctor was amazing. But Voyager is least favorite series.
Have to be honest, Dr. Flox was pretty cool from Enterprise too. While DS9 and TNG are my favorite, Dr. Bashir seemed too wimpy and Dr. Crusher seems like she would have made a better Orion slave girl.
Just curious. Please don't hate if this has been discussed on previous threads... I'm new, and can't be bothered to sift through backlogs of pages.

I liked Phlox best, but that doesn't mean he was the best doctor. Just my favorite.

I like the Doctor from Voyager the most. But I do like Phlox a lot as well. I also like Bones a lot, like his personality and the way he dealt with his patients/crew.

I love the Doctor on Voyager, he's my favorite, followed by Phlox and then Bones. I didn't really like Crusher as a doctor on TNG that much either.

DeForest Kelly's McCoy was the example all other Doctors were based upon.
They even had the Holodoc parrot some of his catch phrases.

With all due respect to Dr. McCoy, Dr. Bashir went against the grain and became the "green", spoiled "pioneering" out of place doctor. Bashir was the best doctor in all of the ST series.
I always thought of Dr. Crusher as more of a Pal to Picard, than a doctor.

I've seen only TOS, TAS and TNG so far and I cannot imagine that there's a better doctor than Bones

Although DS9 was my favourite series by far, I must admit that the Doctor from Voyager was my favourite. They could do so much with the character and developed him well.
I liked how Bashir started in DS9 - a brand new, green, and naive Doctor who dreamed of adventure/glory.

1) phlox
2) holodoc
3) crusher
4) bones (only because i havent seen a lot of him in action aside from when he is pretty much on steroids in "spock's brain", so it doesn't count

I'd say Bones first and foremost. Great mix of book smarts with homeopathic remedies...
2nd would be Bashir on DS9... especially in the 6th and 7th seasons. Thinking outside the box on solutions...
3rd would be the Doctor on Voyager... although his bedside manner might kill me!!!
4th would be Crusher... she never seemed to know how to solve anything except with help from Data, Geordi, etc...

I assume you mean alternative remedies. Homeopathy does absolutely nothing outside of placebo.

Doctor Boyce (cage) was to old, Doctor McCoy set the standard for all to be judged, Crusher was just to timid and Pulanski to Old. Dr. Bashir was too....well, lets say, wimpy but trying to act macho. I really liked the EMH (by whatever name he went by...Schmullis, Schweitzer, Kenneth, Van Gogh or Joe) and i really appreciated his occasional "im a doctor, not a ___" tributes throughout the series. I havent seen andy dick/Mark2 as the other EMH so i cant comment (not expecting to much though). Phlox was equaly good in his underdeveloped charactor, it was a nice offset to Archer 'almost dying' in every episode. we never got to much info on the other "doctors" that we really never saw, and the assistants (Chapel=ok i guess) and (Kess=could have done without that charactor all together). In the end...McCoy was the man.
